छग कर्मचारी अधिकारी फेडरेशन की प्रांतीय बैठक स्थानीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा मंडल परिसर में रखी गई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे फेडरेशन के संयोजक कमल वर्मा नें कहा कि स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा विभाग में समस्या ज्यादा है और जटिल है । श्री वर्मा नें कहा कि फेडरेशन की प्रमुख मांगों पर मुख्य सचिव से आने वाले दिनों में चर्चा की जाएगी । श्री वर्मा नें कहा कि लोगों का भ्रम तोड़ने मुख्य सचिव के साथ फोटोशूट कराने के बजाए अब मांगों पर ही चर्चा होगी।
उन्होंने पूर्व में दिये गए ज्ञापन और उस पर मुख्य सचिव से हुई चर्चा की जानकारी दी। श्री वर्मा नें कर्मचारी संघों के संशय को दूर करते हुए कहा कि कई बार तात्कालिक निर्णय लेने पड़ते हैं जिसके लिए कुछ यूनियन को शामिल कर कोर कमेटी का गठन किया गया है । कोर कमेटी अपना निर्णय फेडरेशन को प्रस्तुत करेगी। उन्होंने बताया कोर्ट और शासन के निर्णयों की समीक्षा के लिये विधिविधाई समिति , अनुशासन समिति व वित्तीय प्रबंधन समिति का भी गठन किया गया है तथा फेडरेशन का खाता कॉपरेटिव बैंक में खुल गया है। श्री वर्मा नें मुख्यमंत्री और मुख्य सचिव से मिलकर भेंट किये गए ज्ञापन और जो मांगे पूरी हुई उसकी भी जानकारी दी ।
श्री वर्मा नें संघों को मान्यता के संबंध में किये गए प्रयासों और संचालक फर्म सोसायटी से हुई जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा मध्यप्रदेश रूल की तरह छग में भी संघों को स्थाई मान्यता दिया जाना चाहिए । श्री वर्मा ने कहा कि छोटे छोटे नियमों का हवाला देकर फर्म व सोसायटी को पैसा कमाने का जरिया न बनाये । कांकेर जिले में यूनियन की घटना पर फेडरेशन के द्वारा किए गए प्रदर्शन व सहयोग की जानकारी देते हुए श्री वर्मा नें कहा की 1965 नियमों से हटकर किये जाने वाले प्रताड़ना का विरोध पूर्ववत जारी रहेगा । उन्होंने नामदेव डिप्लोमा इंजीनियर की प्रसंसा की और बस्तर संभाग में हुए बैठक , अनियमित कर्मचारी संघ पर भी विचार व्यक्त किए । श्री वर्मा नें पिछली सरकार के समय कर्मचारियों के साथ हुए भेदभाव और वर्तमान सरकार से मिल रहे सहयोग की बात कही । उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार से मिल रहे सहयोग के बाद भी फेडरेशन की मजबूती बनाए रखना होगा ।
श्री वर्मा नें सरगुजा बिलासपुर व अन्य संभाग दौरा किये जाने के संकेत दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला संयोजक फेडरेशन के निर्णयों का पालन करने वाला हो। महिलाओं की सुरक्षा को लेकर निर्वाचन आयोग से किये चर्चा का उल्लेख करते हुए रिजर्व को भी मानदेय मिलने की जानकारी दी।
