राजनांदगांव। राजनांदगांव नगर निगम में आज महापौर का निर्वाचन विधिपूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ । कांग्रेस की हेमा देशमुख नई महापौर चुन ली गईं। हेमा देशमुख को 31 मत प्राप्त हुए जबकि उन्हें टक्कर दे रहीं पूर्व महापौर शोभा सोनी को 20 मत प्राप्त हुए। ज्ञात हो कि शोभा ने कभी हेमा को हराकर ही महापौर की कुर्सी पाई थी । आज हेमा ने पुराना हिसाब चुकता कर लिया। हेमा के पति सुदेश देशमुख भी कार्यकारी महापौर रह चुके हैं। वहीं सभापति के लिए भी चुनाव हुआ। कांग्रेस ने निर्दलीय पार्षद पप्पू धकेता को मैदान में उतारा। उन्हें 30 वोट प्राप्त हुए। भाजपा के शिव वर्मा को 21 वोट मिले।
