दिल्ली– पूर्व विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज का निधन हो गया है, भाजपा की वरिष्ठ नेता सुषमा स्वराज को गंभीर हालत में एम्स में भर्ती कराया गया था। उनकी हालत काफी नाज़ुक बनी हुई थी, स्वास्थ्य मंत्री डॉ हर्षवर्धन, नितिन गडकरी अस्पताल पहुंच चुके हैं। वहीं रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह भी एम्स के लिए रवाना हो गए हैं।

बता दें कि सुषमा स्वराज की तबियत काफी लंबे समय से खराब थी, 67 वर्षीय सुषमा स्वराज मोदी सरकार के पहले कार्यकाल में विदेश मंत्री के पद पर रहीं। सुषमा स्वराज विदेश में फंसे भारतीयों की मदद करने और भारत आने की कोशिश कर रहे विदेशियों की मदद कर लगातार सुर्खियों में रहीं। मोदी सरकार की तेज तर्रार मंत्रियों में से एक सुषमा स्वराज ने कई बार अंतरराष्ट्रीय मंच पर आतंकवाद के मुद्दे पर पाकिस्तान को आड़े हाथों लिया।

सुषमा स्वराज का जन्म 14 फरवरी 1952 को हरियाणा (तब के पंजाब) में अंबाला छावनी में हुआ था। वे एक कुशल राजनेता के तौर पर भारत की राजनीति में उभर कर सामने आईं। अपने राजनीतिक कौशल से वे सत्तापक्ष के साथ ही विपक्षी दलों के दिलों में राज करती थीं।

इसका अंदाजा इस बात से लगाया जा सकता है, कि सुषमा के नाम दिल्ली की पहली महिला मुख्यमंत्री और देश में किसी राजनीतिक दल की पहली महिला प्रवक्ता बनने की उपलब्धि भी दर्ज है।
