बिलासपुर । प्रदेश में होने वाले नगरीय निकाय चुनावों में कॉंग्रेस पार्टी से पार्षद पद हेतु टिकट माँगने वालों की संख्या सबसे अधिक रही । इसी क्रम में बिलासपुर नगर निगम के वार्ड नं 31 से श्री चुट्टू अवस्थी ने भी अपना नाम आगे किया था और टिकट की मांग करते हुए अपना नामंकन जमा किया था । आज पार्टी की ओर से जिन प्रत्याशियों को बी-फार्म दिया गया उनमे श्री चुट्टू अवस्थी का नाम न होने से उनके निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने की स्तिथि बनती देख शहर के माननीय विधायक श्री शैलेष पांडेय जी ने उनके घर पर भेंट की और पार्टी हित मे आग्रह कर नाम वापसी के लिए मना लिया ।
माननीय विधायक ने कहा कि चुट्टू अवस्थी बहुत वर्षों से पार्टी के समर्पित कार्यकर्ता रहे हैं और इसी क्रम में उन्होंने पार्टी हित मे अपना नाम वापस लेनी की बात कही है ।श्री चुट्टू अवस्थी के निवास मध्यनगरी चौक में बहुत से कॉंग्रेसी कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे ।
