अगर नीयत नेक हो और दिल में किसी के लिए कुछ अच्छा करने का इरादा, तो आपका एक छोटा-सा कदम भी बड़े बदलाव की शुरुआत बन जाता है। छत्तीसगढ़ में बिलासपुर की रहने वाली 27 वर्षीया सीमा वर्मा इसका सटीक उदाहरण हैं, जो अपनी ‘एक रुपया मुहिम’ से 33 बच्चों का जीवन संवार रही हैं।
मूल रूप से, अंबिकापुर से आने वाली सीमा, फिलहाल कानून की पढ़ाई कर रही हैं। साथ ही, वे पिछले तीन सालों से सामाजिक बदलाव के कार्यों में जुटी हुई हैं। उनकी ‘एक रुपया मुहिम’ धीरे-धीरे ही सही लेकिन एक बड़े अभियान का रूप ले रही हैं। आखिर क्या है यह एक रुपया मुहिम?
अस्मिता और स्वाभिमान से बात करते हुए सीमा ने बताया, “इस मुहिम के अंतर्गत, मैं अलग-अलग स्कूल, कॉलेज और अन्य कई संस्थानों में जाकर, वहां पर छात्र-छात्राओं, शिक्षकों और अन्य लोगों को समाज के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियां समझने के लिए जागरूक करती हूँ। मैं उन सबसे सिर्फ एक-एक रुपया किसी के भले के लिए दान करने के लिए कहती हूँ। जहां से भी, मुझे एक-एक रुपया करके, जितने भी पैसे मिलते हैं, उन्हें इकट्ठा करके किसी न किसी ज़रूरतमंद की मदद की जाती है।”
सीमा ने 10 अगस्त 2016 को दोपहर के 12 बजे सीएमडी कॉलेज से यह मुहिम शुरू की थी। उस दिन उन्होंने सिर्फ 395 रुपये इकट्ठा किये थे। यह राशि हमें और आपको भले ही छोटी लगे, लेकिन इस चंद राशि से सीमा ने एक सरकारी स्कूल की छात्रा की फीस भरी और उसे कुछ स्टेशनरी खरीद कर दी।
33 बच्चों की मदद:
जब सीमा ने यह पहल की, तब उन्हें नहीं पता था कि वे किस तरह से इन पैसों का इस्तेमाल करेंगी। बस एक बात उनके ज़ेहन में थी कि इन पैसों से किसी ज़रूरतमंद की मदद होनी चाहिए। उसी साल, सितम्बर में उन्हें जब एक छात्रा की फीस भरने का मौका मिला, तो उन्हें लगा कि उन्हें उनके जीवन का मकसद मिला गया।
इसके बाद, उन्होंने अपने कॉलेज से अलग कॉलेज में जाकर वहां पर शिक्षकों से, छात्र-छात्राओं से बात की। कहीं पर विद्यार्थियों के लिए उपलब्ध सरकारी योजनाओं, तो कहीं पर पोक्सो एक्ट पर बात हुई। हर जगह, उनकी कोशिश यही रहती कि वे युवाओं में एक जिज्ञासा जगाएं, अपने समाज को, अपने कानून को, अपनी शिक्षा को जानने की।
साथ ही, स्कूलों में जाकर वे मोटिवेशनल स्पीच भी देती हैं। सीमा ने बताया कि पिछले तीन सालों में उन्होंने इस तरह के सेमिनार और अभियान में, एक-एक रुपया करके, दो लाख रुपये इकट्ठा किये हैं। इन रुपयों से वे 33 ज़रूरतमंद बच्चों की स्कूल की फीस के साथ-साथ उनकी किताब-कॉपी आदि का खर्च भी सम्भाल रही हैं।
“ये सभी बच्चे अलग-अलग स्कूलों से हैं। मुझे कभी सामने से तो, कभी सोशल मीडिया पर अलग-अलग लोगों से इनके बारे में पता चला। ये सभी बच्चे बहुत ही गरीब परिवारों से आते हैं। पहले एक, फिर दो, तीन… ऐसा करते-करते अब कुल 33 बच्चे हैं, जिनकी फीस मैं भर रही हूँ। यह बहुत नेकी का काम है और जिंदगीभर ये करते रहना चाहती हूँ,” उन्होंने बताया।
देशभर में पहुंची यह मुहिम:
सीमा बताती हैं कि जैसे-जैसे उन्होंने सोशल मीडिया पर इस मुहिम के बारे में लिखना शुरू किया तो खुद-ब-खुद नेक नीयत के लोग उनसे जुड़ने लगे। मदद मांगने वालों से लेकर मदद करने वालों तक, उन्हें सभी तरह के लोग एप्रोच करते हैं।
“पर मैं लोगों से यही कहती हूँ कि मुझे पैसे भेजने की ज़रूरत नहीं है। आप जहां हैं वहीं किसी ज़रूरतमंद की मदद करें। थोड़ा-सा, बस थोड़ा-सा अपने आसपास के लोगों पर ध्यान दें। आपको हर दिन कोई न कोई ज़रूरतमंद मिलेगा, जिसकी किसी न किसी तरह आप मदद कर सकते हैं। तो बस बिना हिचकिचाए, उनकी मदद करें, यही सच्ची सेवा है।”
