बैमा में 55 एकड़ में बनेगा आदर्श जेल, सरकार ने 100 करोड़ रु किए मंजूर
भुवन वर्मा, बिलासपुर– बैमा नगोई में बनने वाले आदर्श जेल के लिए चेन्नई और भोपाल से नक्शे मंगाए गए है। पहले विशाखापटनम केंद्रीय जेल का नक्शा फॉलो किया जा रहा था, पर जेल निर्माण में किसी भी प्रकार की कमी न रहे, इसलिए अन्य राज्यो के केंद्रीय जेल का भी अध्ययन किया जा रहा है।
केंद्रीय जेल बिलासपुर से अलग बैमा नगोई में 55 एकड़ भूमि में बनने वाले आदर्श जेल के लिये राज्य शासन ने 100 करोड़ रुपए मंजूर कर दिए हैं।जेल प्रशासन ने निर्माण को लेकर कागजी कार्यवाही तेज़ कर दी है। पहले विशाखापट्टनम केंद्रीय जेल की तर्ज पर बैमा नगोई में आदर्श जेल बनाने की तैयारी थी, अब चेन्नई और भोपाल सेंट्रल जेल के नक्शे का भी अध्यन किया जा रहा है।
बिलासपुर केंद्रीय जेल में कैदी और कारखाना एक ही जगह पर है, ऐसे में जेल प्रशासन को कई दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है, एक आधुनिक और व्यवस्थित जेल के रूप में बैमा नगोई में 100 करोड़ रुपए खर्च कर आदर्श जेल बनेगा, जो एक रोल मॉडल होगा।
