नई दिल्ली — कारगिल विजय की 21 वीं वर्षगाँठ पर आज रक्षामंत्री राजनाथ सिंह सहित भारतीय सेना के तीनों अंगों के प्रमुखों ने भी कारगिल के शहीदों को सलामी दी। नई दिल्ली के वॉर मेमोरियल पर चीफ ऑफ डिफेंस स्टाफ जनरल बिपिन रावत, सेना प्रमुख जनरल एमएम नरवणे, नौसेना के चीफ एडमिरल करमबीर सिंह और वायुसेना प्रमुख एयर चीफ मार्शल आरकेएस भदौरिया , केंद्रीय रक्षा राज्यमंत्री श्रीपद नाइक ने शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। इस मौके पर राजनाथ ने कहा, 21वें करगिल दिवस पर मैं भारतीय सेना के उन जवानों को सैल्यूट करता हूंँ जिन्होंने करगिल की जंग लड़ी। गौरतलब है कि 21 साल पहले 26 जुलाई को भारतीय सेना ने वो शौर्य और पराक्रम दिखाया था जिसका इतिहास में कोई मुकाबला नहीं है। दुश्मन ने जिन चोटियों पर कब्जा किया हुआ था, वहां से पाकिस्तान के सैनिकों को मार गिराकर उन पहाड़ों पर कब्जा करना कितना मुश्किल रहा होगा हम और आप सिर्फ अंदाजा ही लगा सकते हैं। इसीलिये आज के दिन पूरा देश उन अमर जवानों को सलाम कह रहे है जो कारगिल में शहीद हुये थे , देश आज विजय पर्व मना रहा है।
