नेहरू चौक से दर्रीघाट तक 30 करोड़ की लागत से सड़क उन्नयन कार्य प्रारंभ
बिलासपुर, 24 फरवरी 2026/शहर के प्रमुख मार्ग नेहरू चौक से दर्रीघाट तक सड़क डामरीकरण कार्य आज से प्रारंभ हो गया है। तोरवा पावरहाउस चौक से डामरीकरण का कार्य आज शुरू हुआ । लगभग 10 किलोमीटर लंबाई में किए जाने वाले इस कार्य पर करीब 30 करोड़ रुपए व्यय किए जाएंगे। लंबे समय से जर्जर और गड्ढों से प्रभावित इस मार्ग के सुधार की मांग नागरिकों द्वारा की जा रही थी। इस परियोजना के अंतर्गत सड़क का डामरीकरण, चौड़ीकरण तथा आवश्यक स्थानों पर मजबूतीकरण कार्य किया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही लाल खदान और हटरी चौक में नाली निर्माण का कार्य जारी है। लाल खदान के आगे सड़क का चौड़ीकरण भी किया जाएगा ताकि यातायात का दबाव कम हो सके। मार्ग पर स्थापित डिवाइडर एवं रेलिंग को सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से ऊंचा किया जाएगा। कार्य की शुरुआत आज कोरबा पावर हाउस चौक से की गई है। निर्माण कार्य के दौरान यातायात को व्यवस्थित बनाए रखने के लिए वैकल्पिक मार्गों की व्यवस्था की गई है। लोक निर्माण विभाग के अधिकारियों ने नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे निर्माण अवधि में सहयोग करें और निर्धारित दिशा-निर्देशों का पालन करें। कार्य पूर्ण होने के बाद इस महत्वपूर्ण मार्ग पर आवागमन अधिक सुगम, सुरक्षित एवं सुविधाजनक हो जाएगा, जिससे शहर के विकास को नई गति मिलेगी।
