सिक्किम से 15-सदस्यीय मीडिया प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने किया गेवरा खदान का भ्रमण
हरित, सुरक्षित और आधुनिक कोयला खनन प्रक्रियाओं को नज़दीक से देखा
बिलासपुर।सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के पत्र सूचना कार्यालय (पीआईबी) सिक्किम एवं छत्तीसगढ़, के संयुक्त तत्वधान में सिक्किम से 15-सदस्यीय मीडिया प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने दिनांक 10 फरवरी 2026 को एशिया की सबसे बड़ी कोयला खदान गेवरा का दौरा किया। यह दौरा देश की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा में एसईसीएल भूमिका, पर्यावरणीय प्रयासों और सतत खनन पहलों को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से समझने के उद्देश्य से आयोजित किया गया।
दौरे के दौरान प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने एशिया की सबसे बड़ी कोयला खदान गेवरा में अत्याधुनिक एचईएमएम संचालन का अवलोकन किया। मीडिया दल को सरफेस माइनर के माध्यम से ब्लास्ट-फ्री कोयला उत्खनन की प्रक्रिया की जानकारी दी गई, जो पर्यावरण-अनुकूल होने के साथ-साथ सुरक्षित और प्रभावी खनन का उदाहरण है।
इसके अतिरिक्त, प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने फर्स्ट माइल कनेक्टिविटी के माध्यम से की जा रही पर्यावरण-अनुकूल कोयला डिस्पैच प्रणाली को भी देखा, जिससे धूल-उत्सर्जन में कमी, पारदर्शिता और दक्षता सुनिश्चित होती है। इसके साथ ही गेवरा में विकसित मियावाकी पद्धति से किए गए सघन पौधारोपण को भी मीडिया सदस्यों ने सराहा।
पत्रकारों ने अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए कहा कि यह पहली बार है जब उन्होंने कोयला खनन कार्यों को इतनी नज़दीक से देखा। उन्होंने देश की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के साथ-साथ पर्यावरण संरक्षण और सामुदायिक कल्याण के प्रति एसईसीएल के संतुलित दृष्टिकोण की सराहना की।
गेवरा दौरे के उपरांत प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने एसईसीएल मुख्यालय, बिलासपुर में एसईसीएल प्रबंधन से एन फ्रैंकलिन जयकुमार, निदेशक (तक.) संचालन, बिरंची दास, निदेशक (एचआर), रमेश चन्द्र महापात्र, निदेशक (तक.) योजना/परियोजना- के साथ
संवाद किया, जहाँ संगठन की भावी योजनाओं, सतत विकास लक्ष्यों और सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व पहलों पर विस्तार से चर्चा हुई।
