5 वर्षीय बच्चे के जन्मजात घुटने की कटोरी के डिस्लोकेशन का पहली बार हुआ सिम्स में सफल ऑपरेशन
बिलासपुर।छत्तीसगढ़ आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान (सिम्स) बिलासपुर के आर्थोपेडिक विभाग ने चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल करते हुए 5 वर्षीय बच्चे के जन्मजात घुटने की कटोरी (हैबिचुअल पटेला डिस्लोकेशन) का सिम्स में बच्चे का पहला सफल ऑपरेशन कर नया जीवन दिया है। यह बीमारी अत्यंत दुर्लभ मानी जाती है, जो सामान्यतः एक लाख जनसंख्या में केवल 5 से 6 बच्चों में पाई जाती है।
जानकारी के अनुसार लोरमी निवासी 5 वर्षीय बालक गुलशन साहू दिनांक 27 दिसंबर 2025 को अपने चाचा के साथ सिम्स के आर्थोपेडिक ओपीडी में परामर्श हेतु लाया गया। परिजनों ने बताया कि जैसे ही बच्चा चलना शुरू करता है, उसके घुटने की कटोरी अपने स्थान से बार-बार खिसक जाती थी, जिससे उसे चलने-फिरने में कठिनाई हो रही थी।
आर्थोपेडिक विभाग के असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर डॉ. संजय घिल्ले द्वारा बच्चे की गहन जांच की गई। एक्स-रे एवं एमआरआई जांच के बाद यह पुष्टि हुई कि बच्चे को हैबिचुअल पटेला डिस्लोकेशन है। डॉ. घिल्ले ने बताया कि यह एक अत्यंत दुर्लभ जन्मजात विकृति है, जिसमें घुटने की कटोरी को नियंत्रित करने वाली मांसपेशियां एक ओर से अत्यधिक टाइट तथा दूसरी ओर से ढीली होती हैं, जिसके कारण कटोरी अपने स्थान पर स्थिर नहीं रह पाती।
मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए इसकी जानकारी आर्थोपेडिक विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. ए. आर. बेन को दी गई। आवश्यक जांच एवं निश्चेतना विभाग से फिटनेस प्राप्त होने के बाद बच्चे का सफल ऑपरेशन दिनांक 29 दिसंबर 2025 को किया गया।
ऑपरेशन के दौरान घुटने की कटोरी के एक ओर की मांसपेशी को टाइट किया गया तथा दूसरी ओर की मांसपेशी को ढीला किया गया। (मेडिकल पब्लिकेशन के अनुसार VMO प्लास्टी एवं क्वाड्रिसेप्स Z-लेंथनिंग की गई)। ऑपरेशन के बाद घुटने की कटोरी पूरी तरह से स्थिर हो गई और बच्चा सामान्य रूप से चलने-फिरने में सक्षम हो गया है।
ऑपरेशन टीम में आर्थोपेडिक विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. ए. आर. बेन, डॉ. संजय घिल्ले (असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर), डॉ. अविनाश अग्रवाल एवं डॉ. प्रवीन द्विवेदी शामिल रहे।निश्चेतना विभाग से विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. मधुमिता मूर्ति, डॉ. मिल्टन एवं डॉ. श्वेता कुजूर ने अहम भूमिका निभाई। नर्सिंग स्टाफ में योगेश्वरी सहित अन्य कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।यह संपूर्ण उपचार आयुष्मान भारत योजना के अंतर्गत पूरी तरह निःशुल्क किया गया।
विशेषज्ञों का मत
चिकित्सकों के अनुसार इस प्रकार के दुर्लभ मामलों का सफल उपचार यह दर्शाता है कि अब सिम्स में बच्चों की जटिल एवं विशेष सर्जरी के लिए बाहर के बड़े शहरों पर निर्भरता कम हो रही है।
सिम्स के अधिष्ठाता डॉ. रमणेश मूर्ति ने कहा—
“यह ऑपरेशन सिम्स में पहली बार किया गया है, जो संस्थान की बढ़ती तकनीकी क्षमता और चिकित्सकों की दक्षता को दर्शाता है। अब दुर्लभ और जटिल बीमारियों का इलाज भी यहीं संभव हो रहा है।”
चिकित्सा अधीक्षक डॉ. लखन सिंह ने कहा—
“आयुष्मान भारत योजना के अंतर्गत निःशुल्क इलाज प्रदान कर जरूरतमंद मरीजों को राहत देना सिम्स की प्रतिबद्धता है। यह सफलता पूरी टीम के समन्वय और समर्पण का परिणाम है।”
