Satyapal Malik: पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक का निधन, लंबे समय से किडनी की बीमारी से जूझ रहे थे
Satyapal Malik Death Reason: पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक का निधन 79 वर्ष की उम्र में दिल्ली के राम मनोहर लोहिया अस्पताल में हुआ. वे लंबे समय से किडनी की गंभीर बीमारी से जूझ रहे थे.अपने बेबाक बयानों और किसान आंदोलन के समर्थन के कारण वे हमेशा चर्चा में रहे, खासकर मोदी सरकार के लिए उनके आरोपों ने राजनीतिक हलकों में हलचल मचाई थी।
सत्यपाल मलिक का राजनीतिक सफर
सत्यपाल मलिक का जन्म 24 जुलाई 1946 को उत्तर प्रदेश के बागपत जिले के हिसावदा गांव में हुआ था। उन्होंने अपने राजनीतिक करियर की शुरुआत 1968-69 में मेरठ विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रसंघ अध्यक्ष के रूप में की। 1974 में वे भारतीय क्रांति दल के टिकट पर बागपत से उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा के लिए चुने गए। इसके बाद, 1980 से 1989 तक वे राज्यसभा में उत्तर प्रदेश का प्रतिनिधित्व किया और 1989-91 तक जनता दल के सदस्य के रूप में अलीगढ़ से 9वीं लोकसभा के सांसद रहे।
मलिक ने कई महत्वपूर्ण पदों पर कार्य किया। वे 2017 से 2018 तक बिहार के राज्यपाल, 2018 में कुछ समय के लिए ओडिशा के अतिरिक्त प्रभार में राज्यपाल, 2018 से 2019 तक जम्मू-कश्मीर के राज्यपाल, 2019 में गोवा के 18वें राज्यपाल और 2020 से 2022 तक मेघालय के 21वें राज्यपाल रहे। उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान 5 अगस्त 2019 को जम्मू-कश्मीर से अनुच्छेद 370 को निरस्त करने का ऐतिहासिक निर्णय लिया गया, जिसके बाद जम्मू-कश्मीर और लद्दाख को दो केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में विभाजित किया गया।
किसान आंदोलन का समर्थन और मोदी सरकार पर आरोप
सत्यपाल मलिक अपने स्पष्टवादी और निडर स्वभाव के लिए जाने जाते थे। 2020-21 के किसान आंदोलन के दौरान, मलिक ने मेघालय के राज्यपाल के रूप में रहते हुए किसानों का खुलकर समर्थन किया। उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार की तीनों कृषि कानूनों की आलोचना की और कहा कि ये कानून किसानों के हित में नहीं हैं। उनके इस रुख ने उन्हें किसान संगठनों के बीच लोकप्रिय बनाया, लेकिन केंद्र सरकार के लिए असहज स्थिति पैदा की।
मलिक ने कई गंभीर आरोप भी लगाए। उन्होंने दावा किया कि जम्मू-कश्मीर के राज्यपाल के रूप में उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान, किरू जलविद्युत परियोजना से संबंधित दो फाइलों को मंजूरी देने के लिए उन्हें 300 करोड़ रुपये की रिश्वत की पेशकश की गई थी, जिसे उन्होंने ठुकरा दिया। इस मामले में सीबीआई ने उनके खिलाफ चार्जशीट दाखिल की थी, लेकिन मलिक ने अपनी ईमानदारी का दावा करते हुए कहा कि वे भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ डटकर लड़े।
इसके अलावा, मलिक ने 2019 के पुलवामा हमले को लेकर भी केंद्र सरकार पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने खुफिया और सुरक्षा विफलताओं का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि इस हमले को रोका जा सकता था। उनके इन बयानों ने मोदी सरकार को कठघरे में खड़ा किया और विपक्ष को सरकार पर हमला करने का मौका दिया। मलिक ने एक साक्षात्कार में कहा था, “मैंने सच बोला और इसके लिए मुझे कीमत चुकानी पड़ी।”
तीन माह से थे आईसीयू में भर्ती
पिछले कुछ समय से मलिक किडनी की गंभीर समस्याओं से जूझ रहे थे। जून 2025 में, उन्होंने अपने आधिकारिक एक्स हैंडल (@SatyapalMalik6) पर एक पोस्ट में लिखा, “मैं पिछले लगभग एक महीने से अस्पताल में भर्ती हूं और किडनी की समस्या से जूझ रहा हूं।” 11 मई 2025 को उनकी हालत बिगड़ने पर उन्हें RML अस्पताल के आईसीयू में भर्ती किया गया था। 5 अगस्त 2025 को दोपहर करीब 1:20 बजे उन्होंने अंतिम सांस ली।
उनके निधन की सूचना उनके एक्स हैंडल पर दी गई, जिसमें लिखा गया, “पूर्व गवर्नर चौधरी सत्यपाल सिंह मलिक जी नहीं रहे।”
राजनीतिक हस्तियों ने शोक व्यक्त किया
मलिक के निधन पर कई राजनीतिक हस्तियों ने शोक व्यक्त किया। जेडीयू नेता केसी त्यागी ने कहा, “यह मेरे लिए निजी क्षति है। हमने चौधरी चरण सिंह की अगुवाई वाले लोकदल में साथ काम किया। उनके बेबाक बयानों और किसानों के प्रति समर्पण को हमेशा याद किया जाएगा।” जम्मू-कश्मीर के बीजेपी नेता सुनील शर्मा ने कहा, “मलिक जी के प्रशासनिक योगदान और उनके निडर स्वभाव ने उन्हें अलग पहचान दी।”
किसान नेता राकेश टिकैत ने ट्वीट किया, “सत्यपाल मलिक जी ने किसानों की आवाज को बुलंद किया। उनका जाना किसान आंदोलन के लिए अपूरणीय क्षति है।”
परिवार और अंतिम संस्कार
सत्यपाल मलिक के परिवार में उनकी पत्नी इकबाल मलिक, जो एक शिक्षिका और पर्यावरणविद् हैं, और उनका बेटा देव कबीर, जो एक प्रसिद्ध ग्राफिक डिजाइनर हैं, शामिल हैं। उनका अंतिम संस्कार 6 अगस्त 2025 को बागपत में उनके पैतृक गांव हिसावदा में किया जाएगा।
