जिला प्रशासन की टीम मौके पर पहुंची, फायर ब्रिगेड से कीटनाशक दवाओं का छिड़काव
कोरिया। राजस्थान महाराष्ट्र और मध्यप्रदेश में तबाही मचाने के बाद आखिरकार पाकिस्तान से चला टिड्डी दल छत्तीसगढ़ में प्रवेश कर ही गया। कोरिया जिला के भरतपुर विकासखंड के 2 गांव में इस समय यह दल विचरण कर रहा है। क्योंकि रबी की फसलें काटी जा चुकी है और सब्जी फसलों की खेती भी अंतिम दौर में है ऐसे में यह टिड्डी दल फॉरेस्ट क्रॉप पर हमला कर रहा है। मौके की नजाकत और प्रदेश सरकार के अलर्ट के बाद जिला प्रशासन की टीम प्रभावित गांव तक पहुंच चुकी है और कीटनाशक दवाओं का छिड़काव चालू कर दिया गया है।
पाकिस्तान से चला टिड्डी दल अलर्ट के मुताबिक चार दिन बाद छत्तीसगढ़ पहुंच ही गया। इस बार इसके प्रवेश का रास्ता बढ़ता हुआ नजर आ रहा है लेकिन मध्यप्रदेश के सिंगरौली और महाराष्ट्र के सीमावर्ती इलाकों से होता हुआ यह कोरिया जिला पहुंच चुका है। जिला प्रशासन को ग्रामीणों की सूचना शनिवार शाम को ही पहुंच चुकी थी इसलिए उसने सारे इंतजाम करते हुए प्रभावित दोनों गांव के लिए टीमें रवाना कर दी थी जो इस समय फायर ब्रिगेड की मदद से कीटनाशक दवाओं का छिड़काव कर रही है लेकिन स्थिति मैं फिलहाल कोई बदलाव नजर नहीं आ रहा है इसलिए जिला प्रशासन ने राजधानी स्थित मुख्यालय को सूचना भेजते हुए हालात की पूरी जानकारी दे दी है।
कोरिया के 2 गांव में सक्रिय
मध्य प्रदेश और महाराष्ट्र के रास्ते पहुंचे टिड्डी दल को शनिवार की शाम कोरिया जिले के ग्राम जवारीटोला और घोड़धरा के आसपास देखा गया। ग्रामीणों की सूचना पर जिला प्रशासन ने तत्काल उद्यानिकी कृषि विभाग के साथ वन विभाग और राजस्व अधिकारियों का दल भेजा। साथ में कीटनाशक दवाओं के छिड़काव के लिए दो फायर ब्रिगेड भी भेजे गए हैं जिनकी मदद से दवाओं का छिड़काव जारी है।
फॉरेस्ट क्रॉप पर हमला
भरतपुर विकासखंड के ग्राम जवारीटोला और घोड़धरा के आस-पास का इलाका वन संपदा के लिए जाना जाता है साथ ही कृषि उपज भी ली जाती है लेकिन रबी फसल की कटाई पूरी हो चुकी है लिहाजा यहां विचरण कर रहा टिड्डी दल सब्जी फसलों और वन क्षेत्र के पेड़ों को नष्ट कर रहा है। जिन वन संपदा को सबसे ज्यादा नुकसान पहुंचने की आशंका है उनमें महुआ, चार, साल और बबूल मुख्य है जिनमें नई पत्तियां लग चुकी है और फिलहाल वे बेहद कोमल है।
बदल रहे रंग ,बढ़ा रहे आबादी
टिड्डी की जो प्रजाति कोरिया जिले में विचरण कर रही है उसमें एक अनोखे गुण के होने का खुलासा हुआ है। वह यह कि यह पत्तियों के रंग के अनुसार ही अपना रंग बदल सकते हैं। कीट विज्ञानियों का कहना है कि रंग बदलने की प्रक्रिया को यह तभी अपनाते हैं जब इनको प्रजनन के लिए अनुकूल माहौल मिलता है। छत्तीसगढ़ प्रवेश के साथ ही यह माहौल उन्हें मिल रहा है लिहाजा अंडे भी दे रहे हैं और आबादी भी बढ़ा रहे हैं। अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है कि आने वाले दिन कैसे होंगे क्योंकि एक मादा टिड्डी अपने पूरे जीवन काल में तीन बार अंडे देती है। पहली और दूसरी बार में अंडों की संख्या 200 से 250 होती है और तीसरी बार घटकर 70 से 80 पर आ जाती है। छत्तीसगढ़ मे प्रवेश कर चुकी टिड्डी दल मे यह अवधि दूसरे बार की देखी गई है।
