बिलासपुर- बिलासपुर जिले में रविवार 26 अप्रैल को पूर्णतः लॉकडाउन रहेगा। इस दौरान कोई भी बाजार, दुकानें नहीं खुलेंगी। केवल मेडिकल स्टोर, मिल्क पार्लर और पेट्रोल पम्प खुलेंगे। कलेक्टर डॉ. संजय अलंग ने आम जनता से अपील की है कि लॉकडाउन के दौरान घरों में ही रहें और जिला प्रशासन को सहयोग करें। कलेक्टर ने कहा है कि जिले में लोगों ने कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव के लिए जिला प्रशासन द्वारा समय-समय पर दिये गये निर्देशों का जिम्मेदारी के साथ पालन किया है, फलस्वरूप बिलासपुर जिला अभी तक संक्रमण से मुक्त है। यह सावधानी आने वाले दिनों में भी अत्यन्त आवश्यक है। हमारी चूक से कोई भी अप्रिय स्थिति बन सकती है। प्रशासन ने जिले के लोगों को कोरोना से सुरक्षित रखने के लिए नागरिकों की जरूरी सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता को ध्यान में रखते हुए आवश्यकतानुसार सभी जरूरी कदम उठाए हैं।
इसी कड़ी में प्रत्येक रविवार एवं बुधवार को सम्पूर्ण लॉकडाउन करने का आदेश दिया गया है। सम्पूर्ण लॉकडाउन का कल रविवार को पहला दिन रहेगा। इस दिन किसी भी व्यक्ति को बाहर निकलने की छूट नहीं रहेगी। साथ ही किराना, सब्जी सहित सभी दुकानें बंद रहेंगी। जिले के नागरिकों से अपील है कि एकजुटता का परिचय देते हुए कोरोना महामारी के विरुद्ध लड़ाई में सभी अपना सहयोग दें।
