रोपड़. पंजाब में पहली बार लड़कियों के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कबड्डी चैंपियनशिप करवाई जा रही है जो रोपड़ के पास लैमारिन टेक स्किल यूनिवर्सिटी के मैदान में करवाई जा रही है। कबड्डी एसोसिएशन द्वारा देश में लड़कियों के लिए 70वीं राष्ट्रीय कबड्डी चैंपियनशिप आयोजित करवाई जा रही है। इस बार यह टूर्नामेंट पंजाब की धरती पर आयोजित किया जा रहा है।इसमें देश के 28 राज्यों की टीमें समेत रेलवे विभाग की टीम भी खेल रही है। चार दिन तक चलने वाली इस चैंपियनशिप के दूसरे दिन अकाली दल के प्रधान व पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री सुखबीर सिंह बादल समेत अकाली दल की सीनियर लीडरिशप पहुंची। सुखबीर बादल का स्वागत कबड्डी गीतों और लोकनृत्य भंगड़े की प्रस्तुति के साथ किया गया और सुखबीर बादल ने कबड्डी मुकाबलों का लुत्फ उठाया। सुखबीर बादल ने संबोधन करते हुए कबड्डी फेडरेशन पंजाब तथा लैमिपन टैक स्किल यूनिवर्सिटी को बधाई दी। सुखबीर बादल ने टीमों का स्वागत किया देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों से आए खिलाड़ियों की हौसला आफजाई की।
