रायपुर — समाज में महिलाओं के उत्थान के बिना समग्र विकास की परिकल्पना नहीं की जा सकती। समाज में जब भी नारी की अवहेलना हुई है तब समाज पतन के गर्त पर चला गया है।
मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल आज शाम राजधानी रायपुर में एक निजी मीडिया ग्रुप द्वारा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर आयोजित महिला सम्मेलन तथा सम्मान समारोह को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने आधुनिक युग में देश और प्रदेश की तरक्की तथा आजादी में महिलाओं के योगदानों के बारे में विशेष रूप से उल्लेख करते हुये उनके पुरूषों के कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर किये गये संघर्ष को स्मरण किया। इस तारतम्य में उन्होंने आजादी के बाद देश के प्रथम महिला प्रधानमंत्री श्रीमती इंदिरा गांधी के योगदान का भी उल्लेख किया। मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने आगे कहा कि छत्तीसगढ़ में विकास के हर क्षेत्र में महिलायें बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा ले रही हैं। विगत सवा साल से छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार ने महिलाओं के सम्मान को अधिकार देकर उसे मजबूत बनाया है। इसके तहत राज्य में महिला सम्मान को उनके अधिकारों और स्वालम्बन से जोड़ने की रणनीति अपनायी गयी है। राज्य सरकार द्वारा महिलाओं को उपलब्ध कराये गये उपयुक्त अवसरों से हुये आर्थिक स्वालंबन की दिशा में निरंतर आगे बढ़ रही है। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल ने समाज के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले महिलाओं को सम्मानित किया। इनमें राजनीति के क्षेत्र में सुश्री सरोज पाण्डेय, उद्यमशीलता और समाजिक उत्तरदायित्व के क्षेत्र में पद्मश्री फुलबासन बाई यादव, समाज सेवा के क्षेत्र में सुश्री तूलिका पांडे, खेल-कूद के क्षेत्र में सुश्री रेणुका यादव, प्रशासनिक क्षेत्र में आईपीएस नीतू कमल और कला-संस्कृति के क्षेत्र में सुश्री अमृता तालुकदार को सम्मानित किया।
