रायपुर — छत्तीसगढ़ी राजभाषा के प्रचार प्रसार के उद्देश्य से सुंदर नगर रायपुर निवासी डॉ० (श्रीमति) गीता शर्मा ने चौबीस हजार श्लोकों के शिव महापुराण जैसे संस्कृत ग्रंथों का छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में अनुवाद किया है। जिसका प्रकाशन छत्तीसगढ़ शासन राजभाषा आयोग ने किया है। इसके अलावा इनके द्वारा शिवपुराण , शिव महापुराण , इशादी नौ उपनिषद , महाभारत के पात्र , अभिज्ञान शाकुंतलम् , मनुस्मृति जैसे विभिन्न वैदिक एवं पौराणिक संस्कृत ग्रंथों का स्थानीय छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में सुगम अनुवाद किया गया है। इनका छत्तीसगढ़ शासन द्वारा प्रकाशित ग्रंथ इशादी नौ उपनिषद छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में , छत्तीसगढ़ शासन द्वारा छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में प्रकाशित शिव महापुराण एवं बड़का दाई आँचलिक उपन्यास है। श्रीमति शर्मा ने दुरभाष में चर्चा करते हुये अरविन्द तिवारी को बताया कि शिव महापुराण को प्रतिदिन 17 घंटे लिखने पर यह ग्रंथ छ: माह में पूरा हुआ। इसे छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में अनुवाद करने में कोई कठिनाई नही हुआ क्योंकि वे कई संस्कृत ग्रंथों का छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में अनुवाद कर चुकी हैं। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि मैं जो कुछ भी कर रही हूँ वो अपनी भाषा और अपने राज्य के लिये कर रही हूँ। छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा को राष्ट्रीय एवं अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर पहुँचाने का मेरा जुनून पूरा हो रहा है यही मेरे लिये खुशी की बात है।
छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा के व्यापक प्रचार प्रसार हेतु वे विभिन्न प्रांतीय , राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सेमीनार मे भी शामिल हो चुकी हैं। श्रीमति शर्मा ने राजभवन में महामहिम राज्यपाल अनुसुईया उइके से मुलाकात कर उन्हें स्वयं के द्वारा छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में अनुवादित शिव महापुराण भेंट की। चौबीस हजार श्लोकों को छत्तीसगढ़ी भाषा में अनुवाद किये जाने पर इनका नाम गोल्डन बुक ऑफ रिकार्ड्स में भी दर्ज किया गया है। और राजभवन में महामहिम राज्यपाल के सामने ही गोल्डन बुक आफ वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड्स रायपुर के अधिकृत संवाददाता सोनल राजेश शर्मा ने उन्हें प्रमाण पत्र सौंपा। इस उपलब्धि के लिये राज्यपाल ने उन्हें बधाई और शुभकामनायें दी। इस अवसर पर राजभवन में सोनल शर्मा , राजेश शर्मा , संजीव शर्मा , प्रो० महामहोपाध्याय डा० शिववरण शुक्ला विशेष रूप से उपस्थित थे। डा० गीता शर्मा को उनके उत्कृष्ट लेखन से इन्हें राजभाषा आयोग छत्तीसगढ़ से राजभाषा सम्मान , मया चिन्हारी सम्मान। राजभवन कोलकाता में राज्यपाल से क्षीर भवानी योगेश्वरी सम्मान। लखनऊ से साहित्य रत्न सम्मान। बिहार से विद्यावाचस्पति , विद्यासागर सम्मान। कश्मीर से आचार्य अभिनव गुप्त साहित्य सागर सम्मान। उत्तरप्रदेश से महेश चंद्र स्मृति सम्मान। चेन्नई से रूपा भवानी साहित्य श्री सम्मान मिल चुका है।
