मुख्यमंत्री बघेल ने कौही के प्राचीन शिव मंदिर में जलाभिषेक व खारून नदी पर निर्मित उद्वहन सिंचाई योजना का किया लोकार्पण
दुर्ग. 28 अगस्त सावन माह के 8वॉं व अंतिम सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल पाटन विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत ग्राम कौही के खारून नदी तट प्राचीन शिव मंदिर पहंुचे। उन्होंने यहां पर स्वयंभू शिवलिंग पर जलाभिषेक कर पूजा अर्चना की और प्रदेशवासियों के सुख, समृद्धि व खुशहाली की कामना की। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री बघेल ने खारून नदी पर 7 करोड़ रूपए की लागत से निर्मित कौही उद्वहन सिंचाई योजना का लोकार्पण किया। कौही उद्वहन सिंचाई योजना से ग्राम कौही, बोरेंदा, जरवाय, केसरा, खम्हरिया, डंगनिया, तर्रीघाट, सोनपुर और सिपकोना के 2 हजार 500 हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में सिंचाई का लाभ मिलेगा।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुख्यमंत्री श्री बघेल ने अपने कौही के पहले दौरे के अवसर पर ही यहां के पुरानी उद्वहन सिंचाई योजना को अपडेट करने की घोषणा की थी। योजनांतर्गत इंटक वेल का रेडियस जो पहले 6 मीटर था इसको 12 मीटर किया गया है। वहीं 150 एच.पी. के पांच वीटी पंप स्टॉल किए गए हैं। जिससे लिफ्ट ऐरीगेशन की क्षमता में कई गुणा वृद्धि हुई है। सम्पूर्ण नहर प्रणाली का लाइनिंग कार्य भी किया गया है। कौही उद्वहन सिंचाई योजना की क्षमता बढ़ने से इस क्षेत्र के सैकड़ों किसानों को राहत पहुंची है। कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री बघेल ने क्षेत्र के बारह किसानों को खसरा बी-1, बी-2 अपने कर कमलों से वितरण किया। कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री श्री बघेल ने कहा कि प्रदेशवासियों पर भगवान भोलेनाथ की कृपा बनी रहे। उन्होंने सभी को सावन सोमवारी की बधाई दी। क्षेत्रवासियांे की मांग के अनुरूप सिंचाई सुविधा विस्तारित होने जा रहा है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सरकार सभी वर्ग के विकास के लिए योजनाएं संचालित कर रही है। सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों को पुनर्जीवित करने का काम कर रही है। सरकार की योजनाओं से प्रदेश को पहचान मिली है। मुख्यमंत्री श्री बघेल ने लोगांे की मांग पर मंदिर परिसर के सौन्दर्यीकरण का भरोसा दिलाया। उन्होंने क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए सेवा का अवसर प्रदान करने लोगों का आह्वान किया। कार्यक्रम को जनपद पंचायत उपाध्यक्ष श्री अशोक साहू ने भी सम्बोधित किया। इस अवसर पर स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों और बड़ी संख्या में लोग उपस्थित थे।
