अपने 65 वें जन्मदिन पर बाबूजी-माँ को देंगे श्रद्धांजिल, ताम-झाम से दूर रहेंगे विस् अध्यक्ष
छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य विधानसभा के अध्यक्ष डॉ चरणदास महंत 13 दिसंबर को अपना 65 वा जन्मदिन पर अपने गृहग्राम सारागांव में बाबूजी स्व. बिसाहूदास महंत एवं माता स्व. श्रीमती जानकी देवी के मठ पर जाकर उन्हें श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित करेंगे। इसके पश्चात सक्ती, बाराद्वार होते हुए कोरबा पहुंचेगे व पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं व समर्थकों से मुलाकात करेंगे।
डॉ. महंत ने कहा है कि हाल ही में उनके पारिवारिक सदस्य और छोटे भाई की तरह रहे दिल्ली के वरिष्ठ पत्रकार अनुज गुप्ता के आकस्मिक निधन से उन्हें गहरा आघात लगा है। वे पिछले कुछ दिनों में देश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं, युवतियों और बालिकाओं के साथ हए बर्बर घटनाओं से काफी विचलित/ व्यथित हुए हैं। ऐसे हालतों में वे अपना जन्मदिन पूरी सादगी के साथ मनाएंगे। उन्होंने सभी समर्थकों से विनम्र अपील की है कि किसी भी तरह के समारोहपूर्वक कोई भी कार्यक्रम उनके जन्मदिन के अवसर पर आयोजित न करें।
