तिल्दा नेवरा.तिल्दा-नेवरा नगर पालिका परिषद् के अध्यक्ष महेश अग्रवाल ने राजधानी रायपुर स्थित प्रदेश कांग्रेस कार्यालय राजीव भवन में कांग्रेस में प्रवेश किया. उनके साथ उनके सैकड़ों समर्थकों ने भी कांग्रेस प्रवेश किया. राज्यसभा सांसद छाया वर्मा, पूर्व विधायक जनक राम वर्मा, प्रदेश कांग्रेस के महामंत्री राम गिडलानी और जिला अध्यक्ष नारायण कुर्रे, सांसद प्रतिनिधि रवि वर्मा, कांग्रेस नेता प्रदीप अग्रवाल, पालिका उपाध्यक्ष लक्ष्मीनारायण वर्मा, नेता प्रतिपक्ष विजय सोनू मार्कण्डेय सहित कई नेताओं ने अग्रवाल और उनके समर्थकों का स्वागत किया. उनके कांग्रेस प्रवेश की खबर मिलते ही तिल्दा-नेवरा के कार्यकर्ताओं और समर्थकों ने जोरदार आतिशबाजी की.
गौरतलब है कि अग्रवाल भाजपा के नेता थे, लेकिन पिछले नगर पालिका चुनवा में भाजपा ने अध्यक्ष का प्रत्याशी नहीं बनाया, तो उन्होंने बगावत करते हुए निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ा और भारी मतों से जीत दर्ज की थी. बगावत करने के कारण उन्हें भाजपा से निष्काशित कर दिया गया. भाजपा से निष्काशन के पांच साल बाद अग्रवाल ने कांग्रेस का दामन थाम लिया.
राज्यसभा सांसद छाया वर्मा ने कहा कि साफ-सुथरे और स्वच्छ छवि वाले नेता को ही कांग्रेस में प्रवेश दिया जाता है. महेश अग्रवाल की छवि भी स्वच्छ है. स्वच्छ छवि के कारण ही उन्होंने पिछले चुनाव में नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष के रूप में जीत दर्ज की थी. पालिका अध्यक्ष रहते हुए उन्होंने नगर विकास के लिए बेहतर काम किया. उन पर किसी प्रकार का कोई आरोप नहीं लगा. तिल्दा में कांग्रेस संगठन पहले से ही मजबूत है. अग्रवाल के आने से और ज्यादा मजबूती मिलेगी.
तिल्दा में भाजपा एक आदमी की पार्टी
कांग्रेस प्रवेश के बाद महेश अग्रवाल ने कहा कि वे मुख्यमंत्री भूपेश बघेल द्वारा प्रदेश में किये जा रहे कार्यों से बहुत प्रभावित हैं. वे नरवा-गरुआ घुरुवा-बाड़ी के माध्यम से ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत कर रहे हैं. साथ ही, पौनी पसारी योजना, राजीव गाँधी आश्रय योजना के तहत शहरी क्षेत्रों के लोगों के लिए भी बेहतर काम किया जा रहा है. उन्होंने भाजपा के स्थानीय नेताओं पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि तिल्दा में भाजपा एक आदमी की पार्टी रह गई है जो भाजपा को कबीले की तरह चला रहा है. उसकी मनमानी की वजह से भाजपा अब तिल्दा में पूरी तरह से ख़त्म हो जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा आने वाले नगरपालिका चुनाव में कांग्रेस तीन चौथाई से ज्यादा सीटों पर जीत कर अपना अध्यक्ष बनाएगी। उनके चुनाव लड़ने की संभावना पर उन्होंने कहा कि पार्टी जैसा आदेश करेगी वे उसका पालन करेंगे।
