रायपुर। वनवास काल के दौरान श्री राम जिन स्थलों से होकर लंका की ओर रवाना हुए उनमें राम छत्तीसगढ़ के 75 स्थलों से होते हुए गुजरे थे जिनमें से 51 जगहों पर वे रुके थे।राज्य सरकार ने फ़ैसला किया है कि ये सभी 51 जगहों को पर्यटन की दृष्टि से विकसित किया जाएगा।
प्रथम चरण में राज्य सरकार ने सरगुजा से लेकर बस्तर के बीच स्थित आठ स्थलों का चयन किया है। इनमें सीतामढ़ी (कोरिया), रामगढ़ (सरगुजा), शिवरीनारायण (जांजगीर चाँपा), तुरतुरिया (बलौदा बाज़ार), चंद्रखुरी (रायपुर), राजिम (गरियाबंद), सिहावा (धमतरी ) और जगदलपुर ( बस्तर ) शामिल हैं।
इस परियोजना की शुरुआत माता कौशल्या मंदिर चंद्रखुरी से की जाएगी।
