नई दिल्ली — पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री और बिहार के दिग्गज नेता रहे डॉ. रघुवंश प्रसाद सिंह का आज निधन हो गया। राष्ट्रीय जनता दल के प्रमुख लालू प्रसाद यादव के करीबी रहे इस नेता ने दिल्ली स्थित AIIMS में अंतिम सांसें ली। बिहार की राजनीति में रघुवंश बाबू के नाम से जाने-पहचाने जाने वाले पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री को कुछ दिन पहले ही साँस लेने मे तकलीफ के चलते दिल्ली एम्स में भर्ती किया गया था। गौरतलब है कि रघुवंश प्रसाद सिंह कुछ महीने पहले कोरोना संक्रमित हो गये थे। उनका इलाज पटना एम्स में चला था। वहांँ से वे स्वस्थ होकर बाहर आ गये थे, लेकिन फिर निमाेनिया के कारण दिल्ली एम्स में भर्ती कराये गये। पटना एम्स में इलाज के दौरान उन्होंने पार्टी में अपने विरोधी रामा सिंह की एंट्री के प्रयासों से नाराज होकर उपाध्यक्ष पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। हालांकि, उनके इस्तीफा को पार्टी सुप्रीमो लालू प्रसाद यादव ने स्वीकार नहीं किया है।
