बिलासपुर।छत्तीसगढ़ के प्रथम स्वप्नदृष्टा महान स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी डॉ खूबचंद बघेल जी की 125वीं जन्म जयंती के अवसर पर डॉक्टर खूबचंद बघेल सेवा समिति द्वारा डॉ बघेल चौक (नूतन कालोनी) सरकंडा बिलासपुर में प्रति वर्ष की भांति मनाई गई। पुष्पांजली देने हर वर्ग के लोग एकत्र हुए वही मुख्य अतिथि में अनिल टाह, डॉ एल सी मढ़रिया, डॉ विनोद तिवारी,प्रदीप कौशिक ,लक्ष्मी कुमार गहवाई, डॉ शारदा कश्यप, लता राठौड़ तानसेन चंद्रवंशी रहे।अनिल टाह ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि डॉ बघेल के सपनों का छत्तीसगढ़ में हम सब निवास रत हैं। उनकी दूर दृष्टिता जिन्होंने छत्तीसगढ़ निर्माण का प्रथम सपना देखा था।गौरव की बातें की जन्म उनकी जन्म व कर्मस्थली में हम सब जन्म लिए हैं।डॉक्टर मढ़रिया उनके कृतित्व व ब्यक्तित्व के साथ जीवन परिचय पर प्रकाश डाले।प्रदीप कौशिक ने कहा कि उन्होंने जीवंत परियांत छत्तीसगढ़ के अंतिम पंक्ति के लोगों की लड़ाई लड़े। कुर्मी क्षत्रिय चेतना मंच के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष प्रदीप कौशिक ने डॉ बघेल की प्रतिमा स्थल पर स्टील सीढ़ी बनवाने हेतु घोषणा किये।
डॉ शारदा कश्यप ने अपने उद्बोधन में बिलासपुर के तिलक नगर के अपने निवास में बिताए उनकी स्मृतियों पे जानकारी दी। उनकी सहजता सादगी पर विचार रखी। वही सर्व सम्मति से उपस्थित अंचल के लोगों ने छत्तीसगढ़ के स्वप्न दृष्टा डॉ खूबचंद बघेल जी को पद्मभूषण सम्मान देने की मांग माननीय राज्यपाल को कलेक्टर के माध्यम से विज्ञापन हेतु हस्ताक्षर अभियान चलाया गया। हरिहर ऑक्सीजोन परिवार महिला विंग द्वारा एवं आमंत्रित अतिथियों द्वारा डॉ खूबचंद बघेल की जन्म जयंती के पावन स्मृति पर प्रतिमा स्थल के बघेल उद्यान में अशोक पौधों का रोपण किया गया।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन भुवन वर्मा, डॉक्टर शंकर यादव एवं शिव सारथी ने किया मुक्त अवसर पर रामकुमार वर्मा, श्री राम यादव शिव शंकर अग्रवाल, बी आर कौशिक ,निर्मल अग्रवाल ,एसपी रजक, जी एलकश्यप, पंकज कुंभज ,अनिल वर्मा विश्वनाथ कश्यप देवनारायण कश्यप, संतोष श्रीवास ,ज्ञाना वर्मा ,राजेंद्र चंद्राकर, शीतल पटनवार, नंदनी पाटनवर ,संतोषी वर्मा ,सीमा कुंभज आरती रजक ,प्रीति चौहान, ममता गुप्ता, भीष्म टिकरिया संजय वर्मा सुखनंदन माया कौशिक ,संतोष चंद्र, योगेश गुप्ता अजय रजक ,प्रमोद साहू ,श्याम मूरत कौशिक सहित अंचल के विभिन्न समाज के सदस्यगण एवं हरिहर ऑक्सीजोन परिवार के कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित थे।
