AIIMS अस्पतालों में फैकल्टी के एक तिहाई पद खाली, सीनियर डॉक्टरों की भारी कमी
देश के 12 एम्स में प्रोफेसर्स के आधे से ज्यादा पद खाली पड़े हैं. कुल 8 एम्स ऐसें हैं जिनमें एक तिहाई से ज्यादा एडिशनल प्रोफेसर्स के पद खाली पड़ी है. इनमें 5 एम्स तो ऐसे हैं जहां आधे से ज्यादा एडिशनल प्रोफेसर के पद खाली हैं.
दिल्ली।फैकल्टी यानी वो डॉक्टर जो इलाज भी करते हैं और पढ़ाते भी हैं. प्रोफेसर, एडिशनल प्रोफेसर, असोसिएट प्रोफेसर और असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर को फैकल्टी कहा जाता है.एम्स अस्पतालों के किसी भी डिपार्टमेंट में सबसे सीनियर फैकल्टी यानी सबसे सीनियर डॉक्टर प्रोफेसर होते हैं. लेकिन हैरत की बात ये है कि देश के 12 एम्स में प्रोफेसर्स के आधे से ज्यादा पद खाली पड़े हैं. इनमें से 6 एम्स में प्रोफेसर्स के पद 65 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा खाली हैं.
सबसे बुरी स्थिति एम्स जम्मू की है. यहां 33 प्रोफेसर्स सैंक्शन्ड हैं, लेकिन सिर्फ 4 प्रोफेसर्स ही कार्यरत हैं. 29 पद खाली पड़े हैं. एम्स रायबरेली खुद को जम्मू से बेहतर बता सकता है. वहां जम्मू से पूरे 3 प्रोफेसर ज्यादा हैं! रायबरेली में भी 33 प्रोफेसर्स की पोस्ट सैंक्शन्ड हैं, जिनमें से 26 खाली हैं. एम्स देवघर में प्रोफेसर्स के 72 प्रतिशत पोस्ट खाली हैं. यहां 33 प्रोफेसर्स सैंक्शन्ड हैं, जिनके 24 पद खाली हैं.
