यह मछलियां और आर्थिक लाभ
बायो फ्लॉक तकनीक में उपयोग किए जा रहे टैंक में पंगेसियस, तिलापिया, देसी मांगुर, सिंघी, कोई कार्प, पाब्दा, एवं कॉमन कार्प जैसी जल्द तैयार होने वाली प्रजाति की मछलियों के बीज डाले जा सकते हैं। मछलियों की जल्द तैयार होने वाली प्रजातियों में इन्हें गिना जा सकता है। यह 6 माह में तैयार हो जाती है। एक टैंक से सवा 3 क्विंटल मछली का उत्पादन हासिल किया जा सकता है। वार्षिक लाभ पर नजर डालने पर यह जानकारी सामने आ रही है कि एक टैंक से 1 साल में 25 हजार रुपए का लाभ हासिल किया जा सकता है। यदि महंगी मछलियों के बीज डाले जाएं तो लाभ का यह प्रतिशत 5 गुना ज्यादा बढ़ सकता है।

केंद्र सरकार द्वारा चालू की गई इस परियोजना में बायो फ्लॉक तकनीक की स्थापना करने के लिए सामान्य वर्ग के लाभार्थियों को 40 प्रतिशत अनुदान पर संसाधन उपलब्ध करवाया जाएगा। एससी और एसटी तथा कमजोर वर्ग की महिला लाभार्थियों को 60 प्रतिशत अनुदान पर यह तकनीक उपलब्ध होगी। ऐसे लोगों को 50 लाख तक के प्लान पर 30 लाख और सामान्य वर्ग को 20 लाख रुपए अनुदान का प्रावधान सुनिश्चित किया गया है।
