बिलासपुर। शहर के गणमान्य, लेखक, साहित्यकार भरत चंदानी के सुपुत्र विकास चंदानी, जो गर्ल्स कॉलेज तखतपुर में इंग्लिश के सहायक प्राध्यापक के पद पर अपनी सेवाएं दे रहे हैं ।उन्होंने इंग्लिश लिटरेचर में PhD कंप्लीट करके डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि हासिल की।यह उपाधि उन्होंने गुरुघासीदास विश्वविद्यालय के अंग्रेजी विभाग के डीन डॉ मनीष श्रीवास्तव के मार्गदर्शन में पूरी की।

कल दिनांक 15 जनवरी 2025 को विश्वविद्यालय में उपराष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में भव्य दीक्षांत समारोह में विकास चंदानी को डॉक्टरेट की उपाधि प्रदान की गई।इसके पूर्व भी विकास ने ग्रेजुएशन के समय प्रथम श्रेणी में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त कर गोल्ड मेडल हासिल किया था।अपनी इन उपलब्धियों से न केवल अपने माता-पिता एवं परिवार बल्कि संपूर्ण बिलासपुर सहित सिंधी समाज को गौरवान्वित किया है।
