असम विधानसभा में नमाज के लिए 2 घंटे का जुमा ब्रेक खत्म, तेजस्वी यादव ने मुख्यमंत्री सरमा पर बोला हमला
असम विधानसभा में 87 साल पहले शुरू हुआ जुमा ब्रेक आज यानी शुक्रवार को खत्म कर दिया गया। अब राज्य के मुस्लिम विधायकों को नमाज अदा के लिए 2 घंटा की आधिकारिक छुट्टी नहीं मिलेगी। यह नया नियम विधानसभा के अगले सत्र से लागू होगा। विधानसभा के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि 1937 से जारी इस 2 घंटे के अवकाश की अंतिम बार व्यवस्था 31 अगस्त को शरदकालीन सत्र के आखिरी दिन की गई। मुस्लिम विधायकों के लिए ‘नमाज’ ब्रेक खत्म करने पर राजद नेता तेजस्वी यादव ने कहा कि असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा सस्ती लोकप्रियता हासिल करने के लिए ये सब कर रहे हैं।
रूल कमेटी ने सर्वसम्मति से इस प्रथा को खत्म किया
मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, एक आधिकारिक बयान में कहा गया है कि विधानसभा की नियम समिति (रूल कमेटी) ने सर्वसम्मति से इस प्रथा (नमाज ब्रेक) को समाप्त करने का फैसला लिया है। बयान में आगे कहा गया- “आज सदन ने इस नियम में संशोधन के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी है, ताकि शुक्रवार को भी सदन की कार्यवाही अन्य दिनों की तरह जारी रहे।” बता दें कि अभी मुस्लिम विधायकों को शुक्रवार को जुमे की नमाज के लिए दोपहर 12 से 2 बजे तक विशेष अवकाश मिल रहा था।
उपनिवेशीय युग की एक और व्यवस्था खत्म हुई: CM
- मुख्यमंत्री सरमा ने X (पूर्व में ट्विटर) पोस्ट में कहा- “2 घंटे के जुम्मा ब्रेक को खत्म करके @AssamAssembly ने प्रोडक्टिविटी (कामकाज) को प्राथमिकता दी है और उपनिवेशीय युग की एक और व्यवस्था को समाप्त कर दिया। यह प्रथा 1937 में मुस्लिम लीग के सैयद सादुल्ला द्वारा शुरू की गई थी।”
- सीएम हिमंता ने इस ऐतिहासिक फैसले के लिए विधानसभा अध्यक्ष बिस्वजीत डाइमरी और अन्य सभी विधायकों का आभार जताया है। अधिकारियों ने कहा है कि अब शुक्रवार को विधानसभा की कार्यवाही बिना किसी स्पेशल छुट्टी के चलती रहेगी। यह सदन की प्रोडक्टिविटी बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक अहम फैसला है।

नमाज ब्रेक खत्म करने पर बिहार के पूर्व उपमुख्यमंत्री और राष्ट्रीय जनता दल (राजद) के नेता तेजस्वी यादव ने असम के मुख्यमंत्री हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा पर सस्ती लोकप्रियता हासिल करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने असम के मुख्यमंत्री पर हमला करते हुए कहा कि हिमंत बिस्वा सरमा मुसलमानों को निशाना बनाकर सस्ती लोकप्रियता हासिल करना चाहते हैं।
