सूरजपुर.आगामी विधानसभा चुनाव छत्तीसगढ़ के परिप्रेक्ष्य में चुनाव आयोग द्वारा दिये गये निर्देशों के परिपालन में तथा आबकारी आयुक्त छत्तीसगढ़ द्वारा 21 जून 2023 को जिला आबकारी अधिकारियों के मंत्रणां में दिये गये निर्देशों के अनुपालन में सीमावर्ती जिलो में आबकारी विभाग द्वारा संचालित जांच चौकी एवं नाकों में अधिक सतर्कता एवं सावधानी बरतने के निर्देश दिए गए थे। निर्देश के परिपालन में आज जिला सुरजपुर में मध्यप्रदेश के सिंगरौली जिले से लगे नवाटोला में संचालित अंतर्राज्यीय आबकारी जांच चौकी एवं नाका का निरीक्षण श्री आई बी सिंह मार्कण्डेय जिला आबकारी अधिकारी द्वारा किया गया। नवाटोला जांच चौकी में सभी दिशाओं के आवागमन पर व्यवस्थित निगरानी रखने हेतु आवश्यकतानुसार सीसी टी.व्ही. कैमरे चालू स्थिति में मिली। जिसका फुटेज जिला आबकारी अधिकारी द्वारा देखा गया। नाके में संधारित सभी पंजियो का निरीक्षण किया गया तथा जांच नाके से जाने वाले सभी वाहनों की जांच कर उनका पूरा विवरण नोट करने निर्देशित किया गया। जांच नाके में एक प्रभारी अधिकारी दो आरक्षक तथा क्रमशः दो दो के समूह में कुल छः सुरक्षा गार्ड का ड्यूटी लगाये गये है। चुनाव आयोग द्वारा 14 नवम्बर 2013 से 13 जुलाई 2023 को दिये गये निर्देशों पर भी जांच चौकी पर कार्यरत कर्मचारियों को वाहन जांच संबंधित निर्देशों को विस्तृत रूप से समझाया गया। निरीक्षण में जांच नाका प्रभारी आबकारी उपनिरीक्षक मुकेश पाण्डेय, आबकारी मुख्य आरक्षक भरत सिंह एवं गार्ड देवीदयाल व राहुल गुप्ता उपस्थित रहे।
