भिलाई ।हर साल भारत 14 दिसंबर को राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस मनाता है; यह दिन ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो (बीईई) द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है – जो ऊर्जा मंत्रालय के तहत संचालित है, जिसका उद्देश्य ऊर्जा उत्पादन और संसाधन संरक्षण में भारत की शानदार उपलब्धियों को प्रस्तुत करना है। इस दिन समग्र विकास एवं जलवायु परिवर्तन की दिशा में भविष्य की योजनाओं पर भी चर्चा की जाती है। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य ऊर्जा के उपयोग को कम करना और लोगों को इसे कुशलतापूर्वक उपयोग करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना है।

इस बार छत्तीसगढ़ स्वामी विवेकानंद तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय (सीएसवीटीयू) और उससे संबद्ध विभिन्न संस्थान, 14 दिसंबर 2022 को राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस मना रहे हैं। छात्रों, शिक्षकों और शोधकर्ताओं के बीच जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए, सीएसवीटीयू भिलाई के तत्वावधान में एक साथ क्रेडा रायपुर द्वारा सीएसवीटीयू के 15 संस्थानों में ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस मानाने हेतु वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की गयी है; इसमें विभिन्न इंजीनियरिंग डिप्लोमा एवं फार्मेसी संस्थान शामिल हैं। इसके तहत भाषण प्रतियोगिता, पोस्टर प्रतियोगिता, निबंध लेखन, कविता लेखन, प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता, विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यान, एवं ऊर्जा संरक्षण और स्थिरता से संबंधित स्टार्टअप्स को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नवाचार इत्यादि विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जायेगा। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार के रूप में विभिन्न ऊर्जा कुशल उपकरणों और प्रशंसा प्रमाणपत्रों से सम्मानित किया जाएगा ।विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ एम् के वर्मा जी ने ऊर्जा संरक्षण की दिशा में किये जा रहे इस महाभियानहेतु क्रेडा रायपुर एवं ऊर्जा दक्षता ब्यूरो (बीईई), भारत सरकार के प्रयास की अत्यंत सराहना की है और विश्वविद्यालय परिवार को अग्रिम शुभ कामनाएं प्रेषित की है।
