अहमदाबाद – जिस भव्यता के साथ इसकी शुरुआत हुई है, उसने युवा खिलाड़ियों को जोश से भर दिया है। मेरे सामने युवा जोश का ये सागर , ये उमंग , ये उत्साह की लहरें बता रही हैं कि गुजरात का नौजवान आसमान छूने को तैयार है। ये ना केवल खेलों का महाकुंभ है बल्कि ये गुजरात की युवा शक्ति का भी महाकुंभ है। खेल महाकुंभ से निकलने वाले युवा ओलंपिक , कॉमनवेल्थ , एशियन गेम्स समेत कई वैश्विक खेलों में देश और गुजरात के युवा जलवे दिखा रहे हैं। ऐसी ही प्रतिभायें इस महाकुंभ से निकलने वाली हैं।
उक्त बातें प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने आज अहमदाबाद के सरदार पटेल स्टेडियम में ग्यारहवें खेल महाकुंभ 2022 का शुभारंभ करते हुये कही। खेल महाकुंभ के उद्घाटन के दौरान पीएम मोदी ने कहा मैं गुजरात सरकार को विशेष रूप से सीएम भूपेंद्रभाई पटेल को भी इस भव्य आयोजन के लिये बधाई देता हूं।
कोरोना के कारण दो साल तक खेल महाकुंभ पर रोक लगी रही। लेकिन राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र भाई ने जिस भव्यता के साथ इस आयोजन को शुरू किया है , उसने युवा खिलाड़ियों को नये जोश से भर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा एक समय था जब खेल जगत में भारत की पहचान सिर्फ एक – दो खेलों के भरोसे टिकी थी। इसके कारण जो खेल देश की पहचान और गौरव से जुड़े थे उन्हें भी भुला दिया गया। इस वजह से खेलों से जुड़े संसाधन बढ़ाने , स्मार्ट इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर को आधुनिक बनाने पर जितना ध्यान देना चाहिये था वो रुक गया था। पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आज स्टार्टअप इंडिया से लेकर स्टैंडअप इंडिया तक।
मेक इन इंडिया से लेकर आत्मनिर्भर भारत और ‘वोकल फॉर लोकल’ तक। नये भारत के हर अभियान की ज़िम्मेदारी भारत के युवाओं ने खुद आगे बढ़कर उठाई है। हमारे युवाओं ने भारत के सामर्थ्य को साबित करके दिखाया। प्रधानमंत्री ने आगे कहा कि बारह साल पहले वर्ष 2010 में गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री के नाते गुजरात में खेल महाकुंभ की शुरूआत की थी। आज मैं कह सकता हूं कि जिस सपने का बीज मैंने बोया था , वो आज वट वृक्ष बनता दिख रहा है। उस बीज को मैं आज इतने विशाल वट वृक्ष का आकार लेते देख रहा हूं। पीएम ने कहा कि यह तो शुरुआत है , ना हिन्दुस्तान रुकने वाला है , ना थकने वाला है। मुझे मेरे देश की युवा शक्ति पर भरोसा है , मुझे खिलाड़ियों की तपस्या पर भरोसा है। मुझे खिलाड़ियों के सपने , संकल्प और समर्पन पर भरोसा है। इसलिये आज मैं लाखों युवाओं के सामने हिम्मत के साथ कह सकता हूं कि भारत की युवा शक्ति इसे बहुत आगे लेकर जायेगी। वो दिन दूर नहीं जब हम कई खेलों में कई गोल्ड एक साथ जीतने वाले देशों में शामिल होंगे।
पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि मेरी आप सब युवाओं के लिये भी सलाह है- सफलता के लिये कभी कोई शॉर्टकट मत खोजियेगा। सफलता का केवल एक ही मंत्र है- ‘Long term planning, और continuous commitment’. ना एक जीत कभी हमारा आखिरी पड़ाव हो सकती है , न एक हार। बताते चलें वर्ष 2010 में पहले खेल महाकुंभ में भी गुजरात ने 16 खेलों में 13 हजार खिलाड़ियों के साथ इसका आरंभ किया था। पीएम मोदी गुजरात के दो दिवसीय दौरे के आखिरी दिन राष्ट्रीय रक्षा विश्वविद्यालय पहुंचे थे , जहां उन्होंने अपना पहला दीक्षांत भाषण दिया। फिर अहमदाबाद में रोड शो किया और राजभवन से पटेल स्टेडियम पहुंचे। इसके बाद उन्होंने एक समारोह में खेल महाकुंभ का उद्घाटन किया।
