रायपुर । वनों में भोजन का अभाव के चलते हजारों बंदर और सूअर छत्तीसगढ़ के मैदानी इलाकों में पलायन कर गए हैं। इसका खामियाजा मैदानी क्षेत्र के लाखों किसानों को उठाना पड़ रहा है। वानर और जंगली सूअर जंगलों की ओर लौटाना तो मुश्किल है परन्तु पलायन रोकने का प्रयास किया जा सकता है। इसके लिए प्रदेश सरकार को सार्थक कार्य योजना बनाने की आवश्यकता है।
वनोपज का अत्यधिक दोहन
जंगलों में विभिन्न प्रकार के फल- फूल और कंद- मूल पाए जाते थे परंतु जब से वनोपज का बाजार बढ़ा है। जंगलों में फल-फूल और कंद- मूल की उपज तेजी से कम हुई है। व्यापारी हर तरह का वनोपज वनांचल से खरीदने लगे हैं इसलिए ग्रामीण भी कच्चे-पक्के सभी तरह के फल -फूल और कंदों को संग्रहित कर व्यापारियों को बेचने लगे हैं। इधर व्यापारी इनकी ग्रेडिंग कर अपना व्यवसाय बढ़ा रहे हैं।

हर गांव में बंदर और सूअर
एक सर्वे के अनुसार खारून नदी के किनारे बसे ग्राम अरकार से लेकर सिमगा के मध्य नदी के दोनों तरफ करीब 300 गांव हैं। हर गांव में औसतन 60 -70 बंदर और 40 से अधिक जंगली सूअर टोलियों में घूम रहे हैं। बताया गया कि इन 300 गांवों में लगभग 21 हजार काले मुंह के बंदर और लगभग 12 हजार जंगली सूअर अपना डेरा जमाए हुए हैं। बंदरों का समूह जहां गांवों की अमराई और बस्ती व तालाबों के किनारे खड़े वृक्षों में आश्रय लिए हुए हैं, वही सूकरों का झुंड नदियों और नालों के खोह मे डेरा जमाए हुए हैं।
किसान हलकान
नदी किनारे के लगभग हर गांव में अब साल भर खेती होती है इसलिए बंदरों तथा सुकरों को खाने को कुछ ना कुछ मिल जाता है इसलिए वह मैदानी इलाकों में अपना कब्जा जमा चुके हैं। बंदरों के कारण किसान दलहन- तिलहन की फसल नहीं ले पा रहे हैं, वहीं वे अपनी बाड़ियों में सब्जी- भाजी के अलावा कंदीय फसल भी नहीं ले पा रहे हैं। इन सभी फसलों को बंदर और जंगली सूअर नुकसान पहुंचाते हैं।
